The Deep Backward Square Leg Cricket Club was established in 1986. Initially a friendlies only side, we have grown over the years, and in 2008 will again be running two sides. Our Saturday side compete in Division 9 of the 'Marshall Hatchick Two Counties Cricket Championship', whilst our Sunday side compete in Section B of the 'M S C (UK) Suffolk Cricket Alliance'. Our home venue is Greshams Sports & Social Club, one of the better sporting facilities in Ipswich, and also host to much of our socialising. We are a friendly club, ready to welcome new players (either starting out, returning to the game, or anywhere in between), and we have also enjoyed many successful tours over recent years. During the season our regular Club night is on Thursday, when we meet at Greshams for outdoor nets, from 6.00 p.m. onwards. Please feel free to come along and join in.
