Pro-Rata, Membership 2008

Since 1st July 2005, to aid with administration, new membership subscriptions were based on a pro-rata basis only to 31st December. As from 1st January 2007 all renewals of membership will revert to an annual basis, i.e. 1st January to 31st December, when all membership will expire. New membership will continue to be based on figures relevant to 31st December.

To ensure the correct amounts of all renewals are paid please refer to the chart below:

(1.) Please note that Greshams does not accept new membership during December.

All new membership from 1st January will expire on 31st December and those members commencing after the former date will pay a pro-rata fee on the annual membership amount.

For those parents subscribing, children under the age of 13 are free.
Those children between the ages of 13-21 years can be included as part of a Family Membership.

Also, on production of proof of age, Senior Citizens can now obtain annual membership for £20 per person or £30 per couple. (65 for men and 60 for ladies - details on application).

Corporate membership is applicable to a number of designated companies/groups subject to those fees payable by arrangement. Any company or organisation interested in this scheme should contact the General Manager in the first instance for further information.

Members are allowed to sign-in up to four guests only by placing their full name and address in the visitor's book in the entrance foyer. However, the same guest can only be "signed in" on 4 occasions during a 12-months period. [Rule 22]

Applicants have to apply 48 hours prior to the commencement of their membership, which will be calculated to the end of the year.
